The City Council has approved an offer from Arctica Finance, on behalf of investors, for the non-indexed bond series RVKN 35 1 with a nominal value of ISK 1,200 million at a yield of 6.42%.
The series is open ended, and it is planned to expand it in the coming years and to introduce market making for the series.
The total size of the series is now ISK 2,900 million in nominal value. With this bond issuance, the City of Reykjavík has issued bonds totaling ISK 1,969 million at market value in 2016.
